Hymenoptera is a mega-diverse order of holometabolous (i.e. undergoing "complete metamorphosis" - the cycle of egg, larva, pupa, adult) which includes sawflies, wasps, ants, and bees, including some of Insecta's highest highs (honeybees) and lowest lows (hornets), when it comes to public opinion.
